Our Services

Specialized Services for APD, Tinnitus & Sound Sensitivity

APD Evaluation

Auditory processing evaluations go beyond the ear to determine what the brain is doing with sound after it's heard. We use a unique set of tests to identify specific auditory processing difficulties so we can make targeted recommendations.

These evaluations can be done in-person or conveniently via Telehealth.

APD Therapy

Auditory Therapy is designed on an individual basis to improve hearing abilities based on the deficits identified during evaluation and the difficulties the patient has reported in daily life.

We are trained in the Buffalo Model of Auditory Training and ARIA. We also recommend specialized accommodations, hearing devices, iPad applications, and computerized training.

Tinnitus Evaluation

A comprehensive tinnitus evaluation assesses the nature, severity, and impact of your tinnitus. Dr. Harrison uses validated questionnaires and clinical tools to build a complete picture of your experience.

Evaluations are available in-person and via Telehealth across all licensed states.

Tinnitus Therapy

We offer multiple evidence-based tinnitus treatment approaches tailored to each patient's profile — including LACE AI Tinnitus, Widex Zen Therapy, and Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT).

LACE AI · Widex Zen Therapy · Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT)

Hyperacusis (Sound Sensitivity)

Hyperacusis is a condition in which everyday sounds feel uncomfortably or painfully loud. Dr. Harrison provides thorough evaluation and a structured, individualized management plan to help patients reclaim comfort in their sound environment.

Includes sound sensitivity screening, desensitization strategies, and ongoing support.

Our Treatment Model

A Multi-Approach Path to Better Hearing

Effective treatment for APD and Tinnitus rarely follows a single path. Dr. Harrison draws on a range of evidence-based approaches — combining advanced technology with practical strategies — to create a plan that works for your life.

1

LACE AI PRO Technology

Listening and Communication Enhancement (LACE) AI PRO is an advanced auditory training program that helps the brain become more efficient at processing sound. It's a core component of our APD treatment approach.

2

Auditory Training

Structured exercises designed to strengthen the brain's ability to process auditory information — improving listening accuracy, comprehension, and focus over time.

3

Environmental Modifications

Practical changes to home, school, or work environments that reduce listening difficulty and support better communication — from seating arrangements to acoustic adjustments.

4

Compensation Strategies

Techniques and tools that help patients manage the challenges of APD or Tinnitus in everyday situations — building confidence and independence.

5

Tinnitus Rehabilitation Therapy

A structured therapeutic approach that helps patients reduce the impact of Tinnitus on their daily life — addressing both the auditory and emotional dimensions of the condition.

6

Sound Therapy

The use of carefully selected sounds to help manage Tinnitus perception, reduce distress, and support habituation over time.
